EVERYTHING IT TAKES
Everything it takes
Let us do it now
And stop these bareness like the deserts
Every global citizen should be made to know joy
Everything it takes
To let you leave what is mine
And make me leave what is yours
For justice is what we all need
Everything it takes
For the innocent smile of a baby to glow
And the mildness of genuine humans to show
Let bloodletting disappear
Everything it takes
For nature to be free from harm
Let the lightening strikes
And the thunder of love and care giving to follow
Everything it takes
For the world to be rid of arms
And the evil minds discouraged
Let there be a good reason to exist
Everything it takes
And the stars above us should shine
Assuring us of a brighter and peaceful future
Without violence but peace in the world
ROOT
I will endure your stench
Fist like tightly trap to clench
To fight your relief from this quagmire
A cause my soul will forever admire
Whoever believe you are in doom
Will be in shame to watch your flower bloom
Awaiting your prelude lightening is not a blunder
Bringing forth your enemies destruction is a thunder
You are like a blossoming tree
That have been feeding the world for free
But get crumbs in return
Soon it will be the owner’s turn
Your shade can not from the sunlight protect your offspring
Only few gluttons drink from your flowing spring
But enormous remains your natural blessings
I wonder why every now and then your pace lessens
THIS STUBBORN HABIT OF MINE
This stubborn habit of mine
Only death can free me from its twine
A million times I questioned myself
If it is wrong to humanely task oneself
And feel the next man’s pain
Fighting for lost tooth and nail to regain
Bearing in mind the joy it entails
The ills my cause curtails
Whenever I fail to act against the wrong
Guilt will grip me for long
Like the claws of the birds of prey
Down on my knees I will have to pray
Giving out is my addiction
To those that are helplessly in affliction
With great sigh
I now joyfully soar high
This I will now tell
For those that this kind of habit does not augur well
Brought a dangerous force that made the ground to tremble
But a coward I will never resemble
Even when the earth trembled and I could not walk
But the ground I made my feet to stalk
Steadily like that of an elephant
I am not like a sycophant
For I don’t do this for the fair weather
More than an addicted fan of the round leather
I am more loyal to this life
And never will there be a strife
For this is my favourite pastime
And for it there is always a next time
As a successor may come from my loin
Or feel me like a pain on the groin
Up to the chest
Where the hearts rest
For this is a necessity in our lives
Even when at us are pointing knives
As I can hardly survive without you
And the same applies to you
For peace is like the morning dew
Let’s stick to it like glue
